Welcome and thank you for taking the time to check out Treasured Cats Cattery!

Treasured Cats started when I brought home my first Balinese cat, Titus, in August of 2023. Growing up, I have always had a deep love for cats. While I was in grade school I spent most, if not all, of my free time volunteering at local animal shelters and fostering animals. I would often foster pregnant momma cats and I would help raise the kittens until they were old enough to be adopted. I started working as a veterinary technician in 2014. While working as a veterinary technician, I have the opportunity to meet and love all the feline patients that come in the door. I have worked in many fields of specialty veterinary medicine where I learned just how important it is preserve purebred breeds of cats free of genetic conditions. We chose the Balinese and Siamese breed due to our families cat allergies. The Balinese and Siamese cats are known for carrying less of the FEL-D1 protein that can cause cat allergies, no one in our household has irritation from our cats nor do we have to take allergy medications as we would with a normal domestic cat. My husband, Steven, and I are both currently veterinary technicians in neurology and emergency medicine. All of our cats live in our home as pets, are raised around my child, and are a huge part of our family. Our cats do not live in cages and are able to free roam our home. I could not imagine my house without them. 

All of our cats are TICA registered, indoor only, they are vaccinated, up to date on preventions, genetically tested, screened annually for FeLV/FIV/Feline HW and regularly examined by licensed veterinarians. We do preventive diarrhea PCR panels as well as preventive upper respiratory PCR panels to ensure that our cats are as healthy as possible.
